Update: Police crashes into house during chase | 911

A Marysville police cruiser crashed into a house Tuesday near 600 Cedar Ave.

Police say the reckless driver was speeding when he hit a curb along the side of the road. The driver then threw his car in reverse and accelerated backward.

The pursing officer steered the Marysville Police Cruiser away to avoid a collision with the vehicle, according to police. Instead of crashing into the car, the officer slammed into an attached garage.

One person was inside the Marysville home, but was not injured.

The reckless driver was arrested a short time later at a another location.
